Cookies policy

This document informs Users about the technologies that allow this Application to achieve the purposes described below. These technologies enable the Owner to access and store information (such as with a Cookie) or to use resources (like executing a script) on a User’s device when they interact with this Application.

For simplicity, all these technologies are referred to as “Trackers” in this document unless there’s a reason to differentiate them. For example, while Cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, referring to them as Cookies in the context of mobile applications would be inaccurate since these are browser-based Trackers. Therefore, in this document, the term Cookies is used only when specifically indicating this type of Tracker.

Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may require User consent. When consent is provided, it can be freely withdrawn at any time by following the instructions in this document.

This Application uses Trackers managed directly by the Owner (so-called “first-party Trackers”) and Trackers that enable services provided by third parties (so-called “third-party Trackers”). Unless otherwise specified in this document, third-party providers may access the Trackers managed by them.

The validity and expiration periods of Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on the lifetime set by the Owner or the relevant provider. Some expire at the end of the User’s browsing session.

In addition to what is specified in the descriptions of each category below, Users can find more detailed and up-to-date information regarding the lifespan and any other useful information—such as the presence of other Trackers—in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers, linked in this document, or by contacting the Owner.

How to manage preferences and give or withdraw consent

There are different ways to manage preferences related to Trackers and to give or withdraw consent, where applicable:
Users can manage Tracker preferences directly in their device settings, for example, by preventing the use or storage of Trackers.
Additionally, whenever the use of Trackers is based on consent, Users can give or withdraw this consent by setting their preferences in the cookie notification or by updating these preferences using the appropriate privacy consent preferences widget, if applicable.
It is also possible to delete previously stored Trackers through the relevant browser or device functions, including those used to remember the User’s initial consent preferences.
Other Trackers in the browser’s local memory can be cleared by deleting browsing history.
Regarding third-party Trackers, Users can manage their preferences using the opt-out link provided (where available), following the methods described in the third party’s privacy policy, or by contacting the third party directly.

Accessing settings for Trackers

Users can find information on how to manage Cookies in the most commonly used browsers at the following addresses:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Brave
  • Opera

Users can also manage certain categories of Trackers used in mobile applications by disabling the relevant settings on their device, such as mobile device advertising settings or general tracking settings (Users can open their device settings and search for the appropriate option).

Consequences of refusing the use of Trackers

Users are free to decide whether or not to allow the use of Trackers. However, it should be noted that Trackers enable this Application to provide Users with a better experience and advanced features (in line with the purposes described in this document). Therefore, if the User chooses to block the use of Trackers, the Owner may not be able to provide the related functionalities.
